Do we have to see it to believe it?
Who Has Seen the Wind?
BY CHRISTINA ROSSETTI
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.
The perfect verse for the week’s post Perpetua, and beautifully illustrated. Terrific!
Thank you, Tina. I can only capture the wind when the grasses are in motion.
Isn’t it the best thing to be outside and just feel the wind? Even now when a gust of wind comes through, I feel like a kid again, lifting my arms as if to fly. Never gets old.
I like this poem.
Reminds me of Thomas the doubter, what Jesus said to him:
“You believe because you have seen, blessed are those who believe and yet hasn’t seen “
