Yesterday, my brother and I attended Art Vancouver 2019 with a theme of uniting nations from all over the world through art. There was an explosion of colors using different media such as oil, watercolor, alcohol ink and others that I never heard of.
This event is far from being less is more. There are more than 500 artists, and it was hard to determine which one is my favorite. My mind was swimming with colors and images. I needed to focus on something less, so I paid attention to one hand a time, one brush at a time. In doing so, I manage to soften my thoughts.
At the end of the day, I searched for more meaningful to me and peaceful.
A very thoughtful post. Love the close-up image. 🙂
Such a thoughtful post with such nice pictures!
I love those wonderful creative colors/palette! Great close-up shots.
Beautiful art, beautiful lily.
Peace lily. Very appropriate, Perpetua.
I posted it based on the Gospel, week after Easter is Peace Sunday. Thanks, Lois.
Loved your closeups of the brush strokes offset by the purity of your final image Perpetua
Thanks, Tina. A way of comparison that less is better.
