Wonderful list of adjustments to make in our spiritual journey. Perfection won’t be ours in this life, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive to be better.
Good Sunday to you Candice. No, we are far from perfect. You nailed it, ‘strive to better’. Perpetua
I appreciate a list of character traits to give up. Much more challenging than giving up physical comforts like coffee. Thanks.
I wouldn’t give up coffee either for all the teas in China. My character turns really ugly, thus, omitted off from the list.
Funny way to put it!I enjoyed your comment.
Good ones – very practical.
Thanks- Evelyn
Lovely post. These are exactly the things I end up failing at. But we give it our best shot! Our pastor always has a list of suggestions to ADD to our Lenten journey. I usually try to pick on of them and stick with it. It’s easier for me for some reason. Two years ago was my biggest challenge. During Lent I sent a card every day to someone in our church that needed lifting up. I really enjoyed that!
That is a noble gesture. There’s not that many people send out cards nowadays. You are right. the list is really hard to attain. We do try, not just on lent.
