In the city, there are more wants than wishes, I supposed want is more concrete, and wishing is more a pipe dream. As a starter, a bulletin board for wants appeared at Starbucks. Naming a real thing such as benches, trees, flowers, dogs, gardens, sbux and smoking sections are easily attainable.
Peace on earth, friendly faces and kindness and patience are all great attributes in life. One could never have enough of these attributes, and it’s more of wistful thoughts when we don’t know how to meet our wishes. What attracted me the most on this board is this:
Gratitude: so I stop wanting more and be happy with what is.
On a personal level, if I want my dreams hard enough, I pray about it and make a concerted effort to make it happen. For most of the time, thank goodness, good wishes do come true.
Wishing you all the very best.
We should all want to be more grateful. That person is on the right track.
Love the gratitude comment!
So true.
