Question: Pardon my ignorance on sports: Is there such thing as Hail Mary Pass in soccer?
There could be such an instant but they do not call it Hail Mary pass. Simple desperation.
The trailing team would send their goalkeeper to join the offensive, leaving their goal open. This tactic puts all 11 players on the other team’s defensive line, providing more chances of getting a crack at goal.
Is this a prayer? This went over my head. (Belly laugh)
Hail Mary pass is a term in American Football (not soccer as they call real football). 🙂
Try to watch Sports sometimes. You will be entertained not by the game itself but by the antics of the spectators. 😀
Ha ha ha…. When I first came in Canada, my sister said: is the CFL playing against NHL? I thought I know less but my sister is a classic case. 😛
Well, they can if they wanted to. On neutral ground: the water. (laughs)
She probably mixed up the acronyms. 🙂
Water Polo! There you go, a new game by Belsbror. Make a patent on this one!
I was cut off earlier. 😦 You know why.
Sometimes, compromises lead to new beginnings. 🙂
