Life is Grand

Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie Sixteen Candles 86% positive.  When I think of myself as part of the movie, I am Robin, not Molly Ringwald.  Molly is a rotten tomato for her role and Robin’s role is the “crazy” one who had nothing to do with her day so she joined this group at school for a day.
Anyway, Life is Grand.  At sixteen, I was still climbing trees.  I love tree houses and imagined myself living in it with Tarzan.  All I want is a simple house where I can live happily ever after.
Fast forward, no Tarzan, no treehouse either.  And Life is still grand.  I have shared with you what my place looks like and this is the link:  Clean Slate – Simplicity.
As for the tree house, it exists up in Whistler Mountain.  To view, click on this link:
Secret Treehouse.  Tarzan who built the treehouse is way too young.  Should I pursue him, I will be called the Cougar Lady.

  1. Had a girlfriend who lived in a tree house once. Super cool. Julia Butterfly also comes to mind. Don’t worry about being seen as a cougar lady, Seeker. If he lives in a tree house, he probably has an open mind.

  2. Yes, Seeker Bella is right…No tree house under the link…

Sweet sixteen, such a long time ago, it is Ok to say that I still feel as excited and even more passionate about life as I felt then?
This post is getting me thinking about forgotten times and I thank you for this, 🙂

Please share your reflection. Thank you.
